  11. Am I just dreaming? Or is it possible??

  13. I have set up AmiTCP.
  14. I have set up PPP for AmiTCP  (following MANY tutorials and help files ;) )
  15. I have compiled SLiRP (1.2c?) that i got from AmiNet , on the SunOS Mainframe

  17. I have made a dial script that successfully dials in to the mainframe,
  18. it also launches SLiRP  (slirp ppp -b 14400)

  20. but then nothing.....i can get nothing running, the whole network doesnt
  21. even remotely smell like its going to work :(:

  23. have i overlooked something here?

  25. how does SLiRP actually work??

  27. or is there something else i have to do?

  29. or maybe i WAS just dreaming and i cant run this in a similar way to
  30. mlink? ie, dial in, run the link....... i want this "proper" network
  31. rather than mlink so that i can run some things that only support proper
  32. SLIP/PPP

  34. ANY help from experienced/fellow netters welcomed! (its not every day
  35. that i end up posting a QUESTION here ;) )
